Overview
At Ibn Ghazi Arabic Institute, our approach to teaching goes far beyond just language acquisition. While we do provide comprehensive linguistic and cultural immersion programs, our core mission is rooted in fostering intercultural dialogue and encouraging global exchange.
Program Structure
Faculty-led programs are co-designed with the visiting institution and may include:
Intensive Arabic language instruction (Modern Standard Arabic and/or Moroccan Arabic)
Faculty-guided academic themes (politics, culture, religion, society, media, history, etc.)
Cultural workshops (calligraphy, cooking, music, Moroccan traditions)
Guided visits to historical and cultural sites in Fez and beyond
Guest lectures by Moroccan scholars and professionals
Community engagement and cultural exchange activities
Programs may last from 1 to 8 weeks, depending on institutional needs.
Academic Model
Students are placed according to their language level
Courses are delivered by qualified and experienced instructors
Instruction combines classroom learning and experiential education
Certificates of participation or completion are issued upon request
Faculty members retain full academic leadership while benefiting from local expertise and logistical support.
Cultural Immersion
Beyond the classroom, students experience Morocco through:
Daily interaction with local instructors and staff
Exposure to Moroccan social life and customs
Structured reflection activities guided by faculty
