Our Tajweed program is designed to help students master the art of Qurâanic recitation, ensuring correct pronunciation and adherence to established phonetic rules. Tajweed, meaning "beautification", enhances clarity, precision, and spiritual depth in reciting the Qurâan.
The course begins with the fundamentals of Arabic phonetics, focusing on makhÄrij al-áž„urĆ«f (emission points), prolongation (madd), qalqalah (echoing sounds), wasl (continuation), and wakf (pausing). Through systematic practice, students gain confidence in applying these rules to selected Qurâanic verses and chapters.
At the intermediate and advanced levels, students refine their recitation by focusing on intonation, rhythm, and fluency, applying Tajweed rules to longer passages while improving their spiritual and emotional connection to the Qurâan.
