Colloquial Moroccan Arabic (Darija) for Daily Communication
Our Colloquial Moroccan Arabic (CMA) program helps students, professionals, and travelers master Darija, Morocco’s widely spoken dialect. Unlike Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), which is used in media and formal settings, Darija is essential for daily interactions, enhancing language immersion and cultural integration.
The program includes three levels: Beginners focus on common expressions and practical communication, enabling them to navigate markets, restaurants, and local interactions. Intermediate students engage in role-playing exercises to handle complex situations like booking accommodations or discussing opinions. Advanced learners refine their fluency, using sophisticated vocabulary and structures to express views on various topics confidently.
Darija and MSA complement each other, and learning both enhances overall Arabic proficiency. Our curriculum combines A Basic Course in Moroccan Arabic with additional resources, ensuring students gain real-world communication skills for an immersive Moroccan experience.
