Fulbright-Hays Group Project Abroad at IGAI
IGAI proudly hosted the Fulbright-Hays Group Project Abroad in partnership with Juniata College and funded by the U.S. Department of Education. This four-week program combined intensive Arabic study with cultural, historical, and pedagogical training.
Participants engaged in language courses, lectures, workshops, and cultural activities while experiencing daily life in Fez. Each participant was paired with a Moroccan mentor, fostering in-depth learning and cultural exchange.
Faculty-Led Arabic LanguageĀ & CulturalĀ Programs
Faculty-led Arabic Language and Cultural Programs are designed in collaboration with universities and academic institutions seeking a structured study abroad experience in Morocco. Led by visiting faculty, these programs combine intensive Arabic instruction (Modern Standard Arabic and/or Moroccan Arabic) with academic themes, cultural workshops, guest lectures, guided site visits, and community engagement. Programs are flexible in format and duration, ranging from one to eight weeks.
